Bronny James, the son of NBA superstar LeBron James and an incoming freshman on USC’s basketball team, was hospitalized on Monday after suffering a cardiac arrest during practice.

He is now in stable condition and out of the ICU, according to a statement from a family spokesperson.

What happened to Bronny James?

Bronny James was participating in practice at the Galen Center on USC’s campus on Monday morning when he went into cardiac arrest and collapsed.

The medical staff was able to treat him and take him to the hospital, where he was admitted to the ICU.

Cardiac arrest is a medical emergency that occurs when the heart suddenly stops beating normally and blood flow to the brain and other organs is interrupted.

On Tuesday, a family spokesperson released a statement saying that Bronny was in stable condition and no longer in ICU. The statement also said:

“We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update media when there is more information. LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”

The statement did not reveal the cause of Bronny’s cardiac arrest or his prognosis.

Who is Bronny James?

Bronny James, whose full name is LeBron Raymone James Jr., is an 18-year-old basketball player who graduated from Sierra Canyon High School in Los Angeles this spring.

ESPN rated him as a four-star recruit and he committed to play for USC in May.

Bronny is the eldest son of LeBron James, one of the greatest players in NBA history.

LeBron has won four championships, four MVP awards, and four Finals MVP awards in his 21-year career.

He currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Bronny has followed in his father’s footsteps since he was a child, playing basketball at a high level and attracting media attention.

He has also shown interest in gaming and streaming, joining FaZe Clan as a content creator last year.

Bronny has two younger siblings: Bryce Maximus James, 15, and Zhuri Nova James, 7.

His father has said that one of his goals is to play in the NBA with his sons someday.

We hope that Bronny will make a full recovery and return to the court soon.
